Courses planned for April – Financial Literacy Month – that focus on money management include:
Budgeting Fundamentals: Monday, March 28, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m Explore creating a budget that works for you. We cover money tracking, goal setting, and how a sense of your overall financial situation can help you create and use a budget.
Build your savings: Wednesday, March 30, 10:00-11:00 Putting money aside will help you plan for the future and help you achieve your goals. While saving can be a challenge, small steps can make a difference. (Also offered on April 11, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
Let’s talk credit: Monday, April 4, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m Learn how to reduce your debt, improve your credit score and get good credit. Create your own step-by-step plan to pay off your debt.
Matched Savings Information Session: Monday, April 4, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m
Learn more about matched savings programs like the Rainy Day Savings and Family Development Account programs. They can help you save towards a specific goal by matching your savings with additional funds. Find out how the programs work, verify eligibility, and ask questions.
My money works: Wednesdays, April 6 – May 4, 10:00 – 11:00 Gain the skills and confidence you need to stretch your money, pay your bills, reduce debt, find money to save, plan for retirement, and set financial goals with a plan to get bigger achieve financial stability. (Also Mondays, April 25 – May 23, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)

Gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to create a compelling web presence and website for your small business.
