Offers pregnancy tests, ultrasound, pregnancy counseling. Offers a support group for single pregnant women and in-person childbirth classes. Postpartum services include baby and maternity supplies, online parenting, life skills and fatherhood classes. Also offers post-abortion recovery classes.

Offers pregnancy testing and counseling, ultrasound referrals, and childbirth and parenting classes. Postpartum services include the Baby & Me boutique stocked with baby clothes, diapers, wipes, groceries, formula, strollers, car seats and other items needed for a new baby. Also offers referrals to doctors, government services, adoption agencies, and organizations that can help with finances, food, medical bills, housing, and more.

Provides ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins, registered nurse visits, pregnancy opportunity information, help with applying for health insurance, online pregnancy and parenting classes, one-on-one mentoring, and paternity support. Postpartum services include breastfeeding counseling, baby supplies, and home help with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. Also offers psychological support, grief management sessions and life coaching. General medical services include STD testing and treatment, pelvic exams/swabs, and referrals for breast exams.

Offers pregnancy testing, ultrasound, pregnancy counseling, and labor and childbirth classes. Postpartum services include classes in parenting, breastfeeding, car seat safety and life skills. Also offers material help. Provides a healing group for those affected by abortion.


Mary Jane house

Catholic Charities Hawaii


A safe community shelter for pregnant women who lack adequate support, with advice and instruction in infant care, childbirth and valuable life skills to prepare them for a healthy pregnancy and birth. Women can stay up to four months after giving birth, during which time the program helps them transition to work or school and home. It also connects them to other support offerings like food stamps and general help. Home visits teach parenting skills.

A 14-unit facility that provides families in urban Honolulu with temporary transitional housing and support services that include resources and support to obtain permanent housing or other appropriate services in 90 days or less.

Catholic parishes

Most parishes in Hawaii have outreach ministries, many of which provide food, clothing, and baby items to new moms.

Hiking with mothers in need

This is a nationwide initiative created by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to encourage the nation’s parishes to “walk with mothers in need” by identifying local pregnancy support resources in their parishes who are currently serving one woman available with a difficult pregnancy.

Knights of Columbus

This fraternal organization of Catholic men raises money to support pregnancy resource centers and pro-life initiatives.

Diocesan Respect Life Office

Provides communities with information and resources to develop and support activities that support a culture of life, including life advocacy and natural family planning. It also provides post-abortion counseling and spiritual support through programs such as Rachel’s Vineyard and Project Rachel.
